Due to the bottle neck nature of the starting area. There will be a mass start, but runners will self seed according to where they believe they will fit in the group. Runners will line up roughly alphanumerically. Please do not be over confident. If you think you are faster than you are, you will be quickly be annoyed with the sound of “On Your Left”. To get the best idea of your average time, we recommend running the first 3 miles of the course. The race will start in the parking lot at the top of the North Ogden Divide. However, remember, participants will be parking at the Finish area and boarding a shuttle that will take them to the Start Line. Parking at the start line is very limited. Just ride the bus!

Yes, you got on the bus, but if you do not check in at the start line, you will receive DNS (Did not start) and if you get lost you will be on your own because we will not know you are on the trail… So PLEASE remember to check in at the start line.
